President Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration

Friday 27.01.2017 President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order banning Immigration from certain countries to the USA


President Trump suspended entry to all Syrian refugees and blocked entry of citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries, refugees or otherwise, from entering the United States for 90 days: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

The order though does not affect those already living in the USA. But there is a lot of confusion over it.

Thousands of people protested the executive order in cities across the country on Saturday, many of them at airports. Some students, citizens that tried to enter the USA from those 7 countries were sent back overseas and many people were stopped at airports in the United States and abroad.

The order raised many questions.
