More than 50 Democrat members of congress will boycott today’s ceremony – to try and boycott President-Elect Trump.
Many of them were motivated by Trump’s opinions on matters like healthcare, defense, immigration.
The boycott is not the largest in history. In 1973, 80 members of congress skipped Richard Nixon’s swearing in.
I will not celebrate a man who preaches a politics of division and hate. I won't be attending Donald Trump's inauguration.
